product:Ferriet Magnet
Hard Ferrite magnets (ceramic magnets), are mainly manufactured by SrO or BaO and Fe2O3. There are two production methods: Dry press and Wet press. The dry process is used for istropic and anistropic material, and the wet method applies only to the production of anistropic material.
Ferrite magnets have good resistance to demagnetization, excellent corrosion resistance, and especially popular advantage of low cost. However, They are very hard, brittle and limited to simple size. The mould charge is vey expensive too. This class of magnets have lower energy characteristics compared to other magnetic materials.
Due to their low cost, Ferrite magnets enjoy a very wide range of applications, from motors, loudspeakers, toys and crafts, etc. They are the most widely used magnetic material today.
